Fort Carson Building 1447 Division Headquaters
Building 1447 is the 4th ID Division COF. Over 1,200 troops are being transferred to Fort Carson Army Post from Ft. Hood in Texas. This building will serve these troops in their new home. Warehouse by Design was in charge of the complete installation of this building from the office furniture to the supply room desks, storage cabinets and shelving units. All items for this project were shipped KD and installed on site by Warehouse by Design. In total, over 100,000 pounds of KD furniture was brought in to fill the COF. Each company has a training office area for their Executive Officer, First Sergeant and Commander and a company readiness area for the troops. Warehouse by Design provided furniture installation services for the 2 story 75,000 square foot building with a 12-16 man crew in 7 work days.
